19th century platter, Germany

Biedermeier fruit platter. It was made in Germany in the mid-nineteenth century by the Buchholz family. The silver alloy is pressed and mounted on an alloy made using the caliphony technique. The patterns depicted on it are made in the Biedermeier style. It is not hallmarked, but it was checked with acid and is made of silver. The plate has one small chip that is almost invisible. The item is over 150 years old. I recommend this original item to your attention. It is perfect as a gift or as a complement to a collection. A real rarity.
