Buffet Art Deco rosewood and brass of the 1930s

Luxury low buffet veneer Rio rosewood with long handles and locks the 25 years brass has 35. On the edges of the plateau, a very discreet framework which consists of sticks or nets chrome enhances volumes. 2 large doors shapely and sleek that close a total of 6 shelves for storage (3 from each side). The furniture comes from an order for a Parisian family and was sold a former owner in the early 1960s. There is a signature of the cabinetmaker as a manufacture stamp has inside. The buffet or row (because there are 3 elements) has all the attributes of the period. The rich buffet of production was sold in the catalogue by department stores, houses of furniture from major cities and some semi-industriels woodworking workshops like those of the faubourg Saint-Antoine. The structure is still classic but its décor is adorned with quality materials, plating (instead of furniture series often in massive walnut). The curved line disappears in favor of straight lines and geometric volumes of Cubist inspiration. Large surfaces of the buffet are smooth, sober and bright with a finish nail buffer.
