WORLD MAP COFFEE TABLE

This is an attractive vintage coffee table which dates to the 1970s. The table is rectangular and fairly low, it is large and heavy, made of mixed woods, with a deep glass top which covers an antique style map of the world. The glass is kept in place with attractive polished brass edging which gives the table a campaign style look. The wooden base is a deep dark reddish brown colour and has a French Polished finish. CONDITION The table is in solid structural condition with various blemishes and scratches to the brass edging. There are scratches to the brass on one end as though it has been stored on its side and there is a water mark to the bottom edge of the map. The wood has small marks and knocks here and there. MEASUREMENTS height- 36.5cms width-128.5cms depth- 89.5cms The measurements are taken at the widest points.
