Set consisting of four cups and six coffee cups/moka in fine porcelain, hand-painted, signed by the prestigious hungarian porcelain manufacture herend. The décor has been dubbed "apponyi". This is the "apponyi purple" model, codified "ap" by herend. Originally created in 1930 for count albert apponyi, the highly refined motif features a central motif of a stylized raspberry-coloured peony, surrounded by a garland of leaves with 24-carat rosettes and gold fillets. Each piece is hand-painted, with an exceptional quality of production and on a porcelain of great finesse, with delicate transparency in the light. A very beautiful and rare porcelain set from a large house. Under each cup: Blue stamp "herend ungary handpainted" and numbered in blue by hand "1709". Small number or acronym in pink painted by hand, perhaps the code of the painter who created the decoration of the room.
