Large Art Nouveau lamp – bronze and glass base, open shade with floral decoration – late 20th century. From a collector's provenance. Elegant and spectacular Art Nouveau table lamp, characteristic of French productions from the turn of the 20th century. It rests on a bronze base with naturalistic decoration, forming a flared base reminiscent of roots or stylised petals, topped with a green tinted glass stem, providing a beautiful light diffusion. The open glass shade features a stylised red floral decoration, in the spirit of umbels, typical of the botanical vocabulary of Art Nouveau. The finely crafted bronze mount extends into decorative openwork elements supporting the whole. Height: 80 cm. Period: circa 1970-1980. Condition: Good overall condition. Signs of use on the bronze, some visible traces of time (see photos). Electricity to be checked according to use. A decorative piece of beautiful presence, ideal for a refined and warm atmosphere, suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors.
