Pine side table with an extendable top, drawer, woven wooden basket and lower shelf. Scandinavian production, 1950s. Produced in Scandinavia during the 1950s, this side table is crafted entirely from pine and features a simple structure designed to incorporate several storage compartments. The top is fitted with two folding leaves, each measuring 18 cm, extending the surface from 60 cm to a total length of 96 cm. Beneath the top is a drawer with internal dividers, while a generously sized woven wooden basket is suspended below. A slatted lower shelf connects the legs and completes the structure. This configuration is typical of Scandinavian sewing tables from the period, designed to keep threads, bobbins and other sewing accessories neatly organized within the different compartments. The overall composition reflects the practical approach of mid-century Scandinavian furniture, where functionality, straightforward construction and careful craftsmanship are combined in a restrained formal language. Good condition. It may show some signs of age and use. Please pay close attention to the photographs. AG037
