Legnoletto bed by designer Alfredo Häberli model LL4 by Alias, bed or chaise longue, wood and aluminium furniture, 2001. *Born in Lenno Tremezzina (Como) in 1945, he graduated in mechanical engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan. In 1987 and 1989, he designed two historic chairs for Alias: lightlight and softlight. The former is part of the permanent collection at MoMA in New York. The first Alias chairs from the frame range date back to 1994. They were followed in 2003 by the frame table, in 2007 by the teak out collection, in 2009 by the biplan table, and in 2011 by the hydrocart. In 2013, the oscillating tilt mechanism was introduced on the more versions of the rolling frame chairs and meeting frame chairs, which were later enhanced with a new soft finish in 2015. He lives and works in Milan. Measurements: 212 cm X 90 cm, head height 78 cm, bed height 38 cm. Weight: approximately 35 kg. Good vintage condition (patina, minimal wear). Delivery by carrier.
