Table lamp by Tommaso Barbi This beautiful lamp designed by Tommaso Barbi in Italy will not leave anyone indifferent. Here you don't fall in love at first sight and that's a good sign. This is often what happens with timeless objects. Indeed, you will not get tired of this lamp. Finely studied lines, a metal lampshade that just sits on its support and perfectly matched colors. Burgundy, creamy white and the gold color of brass combine wonderfully. Very well made, it is therefore made of metal, bakelite and brass. It has been serviced and works perfectly. Tommaso Barbi was a very active designer in the 60s/70s and is well known for his leaf lamp. Very close to the Hollywood Regency style, he used brass a lot but also Murano glass and marble in his creations. Note some small tears on the lampshade or slight oxidation of the brass.
