Stunning xl mah jong set in the ‘jean-paul gaultier’ version. A rare find on the second hand market. Designed by hans hopfer for roche bobois. Designed by hans hopfer in 1971, the mah jong sofa is an iconic model of the roche bobois collections, and offers total freedom of form and function. From three simple elements, stacked or juxtaposed, the mah jong allows for infinite compositions. Each cushion is entirely made and sewn by hand in a dedicated workshop. Dressed in assertive fabrics, which match its design, the mah jong remains a reference of creativity and modularity. It is presented here in a combination of jean paul gaultier fabrics, both original and exuberant. The pairing of plain and patterned fabrics give rhythm to this model, which continues to surprise while remaining true to itself. Condition: Nice set from its first owner. Some discoloration and yellowing due to age and use. No damage or reparations. Some buttons were replaced. No children or pets. Dimensions: W95 X d95 X h19 cm.
