Chaise charivari

Napoleon III style charivari chair, in slightly gilded blackened wood. Very lightweight and compact, they can be used for small spaces as extra chairs or for decoration. The wood has been restored, cleaned, re-stained, and varnished with shellac. The seat has been redone in a traditional manner: webbing/spring and the original horsehair padding, which is still in very good condition. The fabric has been changed with a piping finish for elegance. Sold individually or in pairs.
