Vallauris Fat Lava Vase, 1950s

A unique vintage Fat Lava-style vase, crafted in warm red tones with a rough lava texture and openwork handles. The front is decorated with an elegant design of a stylized woman and colorful flowers, giving the piece a striking artistic look. The vase has a few small chips on the top and bottom edges (almost invisible in the photos). Origin: France, 1950s. Material: ceramic. Vallauris is often considered the ceramic capital of France, partly due to Picasso's stay and work there in the 1950s. However, ceramic production dates back to the Gallo-Roman period.
