Virgin and child wood

High statuette of the virgin and child in dark weathered wood carved all in one block, vintage/old (probably 20th century) on base. Wood of unknown nature. 39cm in height and approximately 10cm in width at the widest (base) approximately 9cm in depth at the most. Very good general condition, nothing particularly notable except a small crack at the wrist of the virgin (work/wood grain). Unsigned around 500gr, very light.
