Handmade Berber kilim rug made of natural wool

The tunisian kilim is composed of parallel, plain stripes of various colors. Traditionally made by southern nomads, it was once used to cover camel beds or serve as a partition in tents. Today, it is also used as a floor decoration. Traditional kilims use patterns based on two simple geometric shapes: triangles and diamonds, in various colors.
