Description: This delightful sideboard was designed by tom robertson for mcintosh of kirkcaldy in the mid-twentieth century. Mcintosh was known on the vintage market for their mid-century style furniture, particularly for teak cabinetry and sideboards. Founded in 1869 by alexander henry (a.h) mcintosh (1835-1919) in kirkcaldy, fife. The popular dunvegan model sideboard offers not only an exceptional mid-century design but also acts as a functional storage piece with a spacious double cupboard drop-down drinks cabinet with a signature mcintosh 'dry bar' pull out drinks tray and three spacious drawers. The piece has a beautiful rich teak grain, warm tones and rich colours throughout. Item sku: condition: We have carefully stripped this sideboard and refinished it with a button french polish to showcase the stunning teak grain. We try to capture the condition of our items in our photographs as best as possible. Prior to dispatch all items are carefully cleaned and re-coated with danish oil to ensure your item is looking its best when delivered. This item is in very good condition with no faults.
