Old rijo registered model architect's lamp

I offer you this sublime industrial lamp registered model "rijo" patent for "ctc belgium" towards the end of the 1940s and beginning of the 1950s. Perfectly operational and very aesthetic, a revision and restoration was carried out, the two body tubes were sandblasted and went to the painting workshop. The cast aluminum joints have been dismantled, polished and waxed, the projection shell where the original manufacturer's label is located has been left in condition to preserve its original patina (however a scratch is present and some chips of paint). A delicate cleaning was carried out as well as a protective waxing on the entire lamp, the aluminum joints are aged in a natural way and have a superb patina, in addition it includes the name of the model (rijo) as well as the mention “patent” guaranteeing that this model was patented at its time. The socket and wiring being in excellent condition (in bakelite and copper) and sufficiently insulated, although no longer meeting current standards, it was decided to keep them. Thus the purchaser has the choice of replacing it, if he feels the need. Its triple articulated mechanism allows it to position and orient itself 360° in three dimensions, very practical for drawing, technical and precision work. It has its original cast aluminum hook, allowing it to be attached to various work supports. It is a functional, precise lamp with strong decorative potential, with its color (black and patinated cast aluminum) it will adapt very easily to different interior styles.
