Old cardboard suitcase

Small souvenir of the 50s / 60s for this old cardboard suitcase. It is rectangular in shape (50 X 17 X 35 cm) and decorated with a beautiful yellow mottled pattern, its systems of closures patinated by time still work, they are fixed to the right and left of the suitcase as well as to the center under the handle, this one moreover has been replaced by a piece of string that I chose to leave to keep all its authenticity and history (i have the possibility to replace the handle). On the side part, labels are always glued, and on the back is written the first name "henry", maybe it is the first name of the former owner... Reinforcements are visible on the corners and side edges. The suitcase is totally in its juice, the interior is to be renovated, traces of wear are visible everywhere especially inside, the closures are also eroded. Despite its condition, this suitcase has a soul, the name engraved, the handle replaced by a piece of string, the labels glued etc... We can imagine lots of short or long trips happy or unhappy, in short a life around a person, this vintage suitcase awaits his new life... For sure, it will make a beautiful piece of decoration!
