Dining table with extension - austinsuite - 60s

An extendable teak dining table designed in the 1960s by the austinsuite brand. The table has a distinct scandinavian appearance with beautifully shaped legs and base. This model is very functional due to the fact that it can be extended to accommodate up to 6 people, it has a butterfly extension that can be used with or without, making it a very versatile dining table. The table expands quickly and easily by simply spreading the two halves that reveal the hidden extension, it pivots downwards, the table can then be moved closer together to reach the desired size. Size: Length: 130 cm (without extension) Length: 175 cm (fully extended) Height: 74 cm. Width: 84 cm. Attribution mark: the austinsuite attribution mark is visible under the table in the middle of the extension cord (see photo). Condition: good condition, structure has been checked, all surfaces have been sanded and oiled. Note, a piece of plating of the tray was missing, a new piece was added but does not perfectly match the original veneer (slight difference in hue). A difference in hue caused by the sun between the table and the extension cord (see photos). Period: 60s. Origin: england.
