Sofa ‘Ateljee’ by Yrjö Kukkapuro for Haime Finland

Minimalistic sofa designed in the 1960s by the finnish designer yrjö kukkapuro for haime finland. The series is called ‘ateljee’. A series in which most sofas are made as one piece, this sofa consists of three separate parts. Like many great designers, kukkapuro also took ergonomics seriously, resulting in a sofa from which it is wonderful to look at a freshly finished painting. The sofa is made of beech laminated wood that is fixed on a black metal frame, covered with black leather cushions. It has got some age related wear and tear on the wood with cushions still in very good condition. 3-seater = h X w X d = 70-35 X 220 X 80 cm / 27.6-13.8 X 86.6 X 31.5 inch.
