Ettore Sottsass & Marco Zanuso Donau Dining Table XL for Franz Leitner 1986

Postmodern dining table designed by Ettore Sottsass & Marco Zanini in 1986 for Franz Leitner austria. The table is part of the donau series, which also consists of chairs, cabinets and desks. It is nor marked, but 100% original. Very exclusive and high quality made in small numbers. This table is the largest version. It has a burl wood top with a black metal rim around the tabletop. The burl wood gives beautiful effects in the structures of the wood. The three blue metal legs with black metal feet give the table a postmodern appearance. Rare piece, especially in this size. The table is in very good original condition. Only one little feneer damage at the side of the top, as visible in then last picture.
