Office lamp, "model no. 8" by clay michie for knoll international - circa 1960 - usa. It has a white reclining shade on a 360-degree swivel arm. Very good general condition. Chrome barely stung. Good state of the lasca. A few slight scratches on the top of the cap. The lamp is entirely original. This elegant desk lamp, designed in 1958 by michie claye, was manufactured by knoll associates (now knoll international). Knoll has made variants of this design, among which it is worth noting a black enamelled version, another with a chrome metal base (this one) and a lamppost.
