4 mismatched bistro chairs in wood and cane, Thonet, Horgen circa 1910

Set of 4 bistro chairs by Thonet and Horgen-Glarus (Switzerland), all with seat heights of 47 cm and a total height of between 85 and 88 cm. These chairs were all produced between 1905 and 1915, and are in remarkable condition, in terms of cabinetwork, surface finish, and canework. A deliberately high-end selection. We are starting a mini collection with this set. These are what are commonly called half-chairs, space-saving, made to manage space in public places. They most often have a seat height of 46 cm, but 47 cm in this set, which is therefore more elegant. They are all stamped and most are labeled. More photos and information on request.
