Vintage Design. Sergio Asti, 'Zelda' model armchair for Poltronova, Italy. The armchair, compact and elegant, features a refined wooden structure marked by great geometric rigor. One of the most iconic and representative works of the famous Italian designer, it was created for Poltronova, a company that has become a style icon. Sergio Asti trained as an architect at the Polytechnic University of Milan (1947-1953) and opened his studio the same year of his graduation. Among the first Italian industrial designers, he became a founding member of the UAM (Union of Modern Artists), which helped shape the industrial aesthetic of the post-war period. Please note that items made of Rosewood are subject to a special export process that may extend the delivery time by an additional 2 to 4 weeks.
