Solidly constructed, simple in form and sculptural in expression, the simple materiality and robust composition of the daumiller armchair pay homage to rainer daumiller's affinity with natural materials and forms. Constructed from solid pine in the 1970's, the seat and back are ergonomically adapted to the contours of the body, which only adds to the bold, retro expression of this danish design classic. Although it presents no structural problems, stable, solid, clean, this armchair is in beautiful vintage condition, however, of course, it has some small traces of wear and use consistent with its age (see photos) seat height 44cm, height at the back 77cm, 58cm from armrest to armrest, floor space of 54x41.5cm.
