A unique piece of Danish design, characterised by its slender metal structure, geometric lampshade, and very graphic lines. Its minimalist and almost futuristic aesthetic gives it a sculptural presence, straddling the line between a functional object and a small architectural element. Arkilux was founded in Denmark in 1988 by Christian Peter Rasmussen, who had previously worked on lighting projects for Louis Poulsen. This heritage is reflected in the attention given here to light, functionality, and the simplicity of forms. Completely white, the lamp is accented by a small red switch that contrasts with the structure and adds a lot of character. The lampshade incorporates a reflector that directs light towards the work surface, as well as fine perforations on its upper part. The structure and lampshade are fixed. A rare and uncommon lamp, particularly interesting for its almost mechanical silhouette and very graphic presence. In good vintage condition, with some slight signs of use related to age. Publisher: Arkilux. Model: Type 44019. Origin: Denmark. Period: 1990s. Colour: white, red switch. Material: metal.
