Mid Century Val St. Lambert Vase De Conque, 1950/60s

Mid-century Val St. Lambert vase de Conque, originating from the 1950s/60s. Beautiful design vase marked by the renowned Belgian company Val St. Lambert and designed by the factory's chief designer, René Delvenne, originally introduced around 1957. The specific yellow-green colour is known in catalogues and among collectors as Chartreuse or olive green. It is made of thick, heavy crystal that has been hand-twisted during blowing, creating the dynamic, asymmetrical shell shape. In neat condition, only some wear on the base ring.
