Bubbled glass vase – Biot

Biot glassware – golden yellow bubbled glass. It was in 1956 that the verrerie de biot was founded in biot, on the french riviera. She invented the famous bubble glass, known today as biot glass. Bubbles were previously considered a defect of poorly refined glass, but the "verrerie de biot" transforms them into a decorative process by voluntarily creating gas bubbles in the glass mass.
