Dresser/console

Commode or console in Louis XV (rocaille) Provençal style. It has been entirely made of solid oak, honey-stained, featuring three drawers aligned on the same line. This piece is topped with a red marble surface (possibly Burgundy). The whole is in excellent condition. The drawers slide perfectly. The marble is also in excellent condition, showing no chips or stains. Its shine is brilliant and it is not scratched. This commode or console features an absolutely stunning floral decoration, carved in oak; a very fine piece of cabinetmaking. Three robust, patinated brass handles adorn the drawers and add character to the whole. The piece measures with its marble: Length 180cm, Width 63cm, and Height 84cm. Marble thickness is 2.8cm.
