Square faceted pressed glass ashtray – 1970s. Vintage 1970s ashtray made of transparent pressed glass, notable for its richly crafted geometric design on both sides. The square shape, measuring 11 cm on each side, is highlighted by a deeply cut rim with jagged and angular contours. Four integrated notches on the sides accommodate cigarettes. On the top face, the circular base reveals a star-shaped composition of triangles and faceted points. Surrounding this medallion, large triangular facets rise in relief towards the walls, creating a succession of volumes and reflections. The edge features a wavy and crenellated line that enhances the graphic character of the piece. The underside reveals another play of shapes: wide triangular facets, protruding edges, and a central starry decoration. A particularly interesting visual construction when light passes through the glass. Versatile for various uses: as a catch-all, decorative bowl, or candle holder with an LED candle. It will easily find its place on a coffee table, console, or desk. Dimensions: 11 × 11 cm. Height: 3.8 cm. A small glass object with the appearance of a sculpture, where light creates its own stars.
