Description: Bring an authentic character to your interior with this stunning coffee table from the 1960s/70s. Combining the strength of metal and the warmth of glazed terracotta, it is the perfect embodiment of Brutalist and Mid-Century Modern design. Main Features. Masterful Top: A beautiful composition of glazed ceramic tiles. The raised geometric pattern (overlapping arcs) creates a unique textural effect. Chromatic Palette: A typical sunlit gradient of the era, ranging from yellow ochre to olive green, with amber tones that wonderfully capture the light. Exceptional Base: Structure made of solid wrought iron. Its lyre-shaped legs and twisted central stretcher give it a robust and elegant silhouette. Condition: Beautiful vintage condition. The structure is solid, and the patina of the metal attests to its authenticity. Belarti (Belgium): This is the number one contender. They were specialists in these ceramic tops with vibrant geometric patterns mounted on chrome or wrought iron structures. The "scales" style and ochre/green colours are their signature. Adri (Belgium/Germany): Very similar to Belarti, they often used these same types of tiles. The distinction sometimes lies in a small discreet signature in a corner of a tile (often "Adri").
