Vintage 1930s triptych barber mirror with bevelled glass in orange - 25 x 59 cm

Antique triptych mirror from a barber's shop in nickel-plated metal and glass, circa 1930, in good condition. Small size and weighing nearly 3kg, it is a gem with thick mirrors, probably made of crystal. Aside from a notable chip at the bottom left of the right mirror, the glass is intact and slightly marked. The nickel-plated frame shows a delightful lead patina, the chain is rusty, and the clasp is still in place. The orange back is haloed. We LOVE the strong and elegant reinforced hinges. It measures 25cm in height and 19cm in width for each panel, and 59cm when fully opened.
