ORIGINAL PAINTING ON PANEL BY MICHEL VILALTA 1871-1942 depicting the sailing ship l'Ogre in the old port of Marseille by the renowned Marseille painter of the Provençal School. The painting has the particularity that the back features another painting representing a painter at work by the seaside. Measuring 32.5 by 40 cm, the panel is in a classic wooden frame of 39 by 47 cm. The work is signed at the bottom left and titled on the back by the artist.
