Magnificent modernist sculpture in matte white biscuit porcelain, signed in relief under the base by the famous Chilean sculptor Ricardo Mesa Núñez (1931-2000). This work is part of his iconic series "Las Gordas" (or "Fat Ladies") released in the early 1980s, featuring female figures with generous and voluptuous shapes in great poetry. • Artist: Ricardo Mesa (authentic engraved signature, see photos of the base). • Material: Biscuit porcelain (raw, unglazed porcelain, offering a superbly pure matte touch). • Period: Circa 1981 / 1985. • Style: Modernist, Brutalist, Haute Couture Decoration, Space Age. • Condition: Superb state of preservation, no cracks, no chips. Piece is sound and very clean.
