Pair of Moto Ishii chandeliers

Extraordinary chrome chandeliers from the 1970s designed by Motoko Ishii and produced by Staff Leuchten from Germany, distributed by Lightolier in the American market. This chandelier is equipped with 13 globes, and the structure is made of chrome metal. Motoko Ishii is a female Japanese lighting designer. From 1965 to 1967, she worked in lighting design offices in Finland and Germany. Upon returning to Japan in 1968, she established the Ishii Motoko Design Office. One of her major projects was the lighting design for the 1975 World Expo in Okinawa.
