Etching la halte des cavaliers by Alf 1900

Large etching after a painting by meissonier from 1876, engraved by alf. Boilot, in gilded wood frame and black frills 1900: la halte des cavaliers. We see two soldiers on horseback with old regime feathered hats quenching their thirst on their horses. Dimensions 35 X 41cm. Total framed format 51 X 61 X 1.5cm. Signed in the board. Mention under the plate alf. Case aq. F. Wall attachment system on the back. No protective glass. Light pencil stroke visible on the upper white part. Two small gaps of black decorated plaster restored in the frame (see photos) otherwise be. Packaged weight: 1k500. Mentions on the back "halte des mousquetaires" ernest meissonier (1815 / 1891) engraved by alfred boilot (1814 / 1898).
