'droplet' ceiling lamp by dijkstra lighting, the netherlands 1960's/1970's

This elegant ceiling lamp or flushmount was made by the dutch lamp manufacturer dijkstra in the 1960's/1970's. It has a hand blown smoked glass lampshade. Because of its shape it is often called 'druppel' or in english 'drop'/ 'droplet'. The round brass colored aluminum ceiling mount has a conical tube as a light fixture. This lamp gives a very nice warm light and looks great with a head mirror light bulb. It is in a very good condition, with minor signs of age and use.
