Pair of 1930's Modernist Table Lamps

A pair of modernist table lamps designed in the 1930’s. This pair was sourced from a villa in brno, where they were part of the original refurbishment. Their design has a chrome steel round base that holds a milk glass sphere, making it look like it floats above the base. A lovely detail about these lamps is the little mechanism for holding and releasing the shade. It sits right under the glass shade and from the outside it looks like a couple of little steel spheres. They just simply need to be pushed in order to remove the glass. The lamps are in very good vintage condition. Both have some small patina on the surface that actually gives each piece it’s unique charm and character...there are no dents; only slight signs of minimal natural wear and tear. Both lamps have been recently rewired with a new yellow cords according to the original design and are fully functional.
