Eames leather armchair

Black leather armchair, Soft Pad EA 205 model, by Charles Eames (1907-1978) and Ray Eames (1912-1988), in collaboration with Herman Miller & Interform publisher. This very comfortable armchair has become a classic. It was designed in 1969, and bears the Herman Miller logo and the reference 938-147 engraved on the base, as well as a stamp from the publisher Interform. This is an original model, not a recent re-issue. Polyurethane foam padding composed of three cushions sewn in original premium black leather upholstered.‎ Side profiles and tension stirrups in injected aluminum, with chrome finish.‎ The four-star base is in injected aluminum, with chrome finish, fixed. Good condition, nice patina of the leather, few signs of the passage of time for this timeless armchair, manufactured half a century ago. Dimensions: H: 84 cm. -L: 54cm. - D: 52 cm.
