Magnificent slip jug signed by the Orchies faience factory in France, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. The lower part of the jug is decorated with a scale pattern in olive green tones, bringing texture and originality to the whole. The flared neck, the colored glaze and the relief work are characteristic of the artistic production of the Orchies earthenware factories, which reached their peak between 1880 and 1920. 🔹 Mark on the reverse: "Orchies France" with the famous windmill 🔹 Reference: SF5 (model or mold number) 🔹 Material: Glazed slip 🔹 Dimensions: Height 20.5 cm - Max width with its handle of approximately 18.0 cm - Top diameter of 11.0 cm and bottom of 13.0 cm 🔹 Weight: 935 grams 🔹 Condition: Very good general condition.
