Niels Jorgen Haugesen String wood and leather chairs for Tranekaer, Denmark 1980

Set of 5 dining chairs by Niels Jørgen Haugesen. These chairs have a wooden structure. Padded seats covered in leather. The minimalist and modernist frame is complemented by an angular detail at the backrest. The backrest support is made of interwoven nylon cords which actually provides comfortable support. Produced in the 1980s, the chairs are in good condition with only a few signs of wear consistent with age. They also have the original manufacturer's mark under the seat. Seat height: 44cm.
