The PH4/3 Pendant Lamp type 117087 is part of the family of PH lamps with 3 lampshades, created during the winter of 1925-26 for an exhibition in Copenhagen. The PH4/3 is characterized by an upper lampshade with a diameter of 40cm: this is the number 4 in the PH4/3 name, while the number 3 refers to the decrease ratio of the lower lampshades. The fixture is designed with a set of reflective lampshades, which direct most of the light downwards. The lampshades are made of metal painted white to emit a soft and diffused light.
