A spectacular geometric composition of Italian design. A rare and spectacular table lamp or sculptural wall light produced by Lamperti Robbiate, an Italian lighting manufacturer based in Robbiate, near Como. This piece is remarkable for its three-dimensional architecture and graphic composition, made up of a multitude of small square metal elements forming pyramid volumes. The elements, arranged at different heights on a fine metal structure, seem to almost float around the centre of the lamp. Their geometric finish, combining several metallic shades and touches of colour, gives the whole a particularly dynamic appearance. Once lit, the lamp completely changes its presence: the different light sources pass through the composition and cast a spectacular play of geometric shadows on the wall. More than just a light fixture, it approaches a luminous sculpture, in the experimental spirit of Italian design from the 1960s-1970s. Lamperti Robbiate. Lamperti Robbiate is an Italian lighting manufacturer established in the Como region. Its name appears on pieces by major Italian designers, including Ico Parisi, for whom Lamperti produced the famous Iride model around 1970. The presence of its label is therefore an important element of authentication and provenance.
