Baker's Shelf – Belle Époque Style – White Lacquered Iron and Brass

White lacquered iron shelf known as "baker's shelf", three levels of storage with oval and semi-oval profiles, from the 1900s. Brass fittings on the front at each level. The upper backrest consists of a grid with horizontal bars, topped with a scroll-arched crown ornamented with a moulded brass decoration in the shape of a wheat ear or leafy bouquet. Side supports crafted in scrolls and curls, rhythmically accented by turned brass finials at each level. Base on discreet adjustable feet. The whole is made of painted iron, metal, and brass, typical of Parisian commercial furniture production from the late 19th to early 20th century.
