Bistro parrot coat rack

There are few people who don't have a souvenir with these charming coat racks! We found them in cafes, offices, waiting rooms and often also at our grandparents' homes! This model has a significant advantage: it can be disassembled into 3 parts which allows me to ship it for a reasonable price. This particularity makes me think that it would rather be from the 60s and not before, because it was the beginning of “kit” furniture, easier to ship and therefore to sell to as many people as possible. Simply screw the 3 parts together, no tools needed. But there is no certainty here either, because other details are more reminiscent of a model from the first half of the 20th century, such as the hooks which become thinner at their ends, or the two rings which solidify the foot and the head which have a very round section or the end of the upright in the shape of a ball. Although it looks like a model from the famous baumann brand, it does not have a label or stamp, so I cannot confirm anything. It has 4 feet and 6 double hooks which allow you to hang clothes and hats, it is also very decorative when it displays a few straw hats. It is made of solid wood, curved for most parts, lacquered off-white. It is in good structural condition, solid and stable but does not hide some signs of its age: a small break, almost invisible because it is located under a hook and does not call into question the solidity of either this hook or the whole because only on the surface fibers of the wood (last photo). The white lacquer has various marks (abrasions, stains, small gaps), so I plan to repaint it soon, if you wish to order it as is, don't delay; ) a screw has probably been changed, because it is a little different from the others. It measures 185 cm in height, the encroachment of the foot forms a square of 36 cm side, the “head with coat hooks” has a diameter of 38 cm.
