Pair of Neoclassical ash armchairs by André Arbus 1940

These elegant andré arbus armchairs are sure to add an element of french neoclassical chic to any room in your space. They were designed and produced by andré arbus for the headquarters of compagnie générale transatlantique in the late 1940s. With a solid ash wood structure, tapered feet, slightly saber at the back, brass hooves at the front, these armchairs are wonderful examples of andré arbus' french neoclassicism. They have been completely restored, wood revarnized and reupholstered with a gray alcantara fabric of lelièvre. Similar armchairs were sold by tajan paris on march 6, 2015.
