Sunbathing deckchair camp bed La Hutte

Nice sunbathing or camp bed typical of the 70s with its large flower decoration and bronze-colored tubular metal frame. This sunbathing is very convenient, because once folded, it takes up little space, so it can easily travel or store. It is of the brand "la hutte" (future "intersport") as indicated by the sticker still present on the frame, it is a brand created by and for the scouts of france in 1922. The "head" part can be flat (camp bed position), but can also be straightened to make a backrest. The "mattress" is in rather good condition given its age, a little wear of the fabric, but no tear or holes. Some small spots not very visible on the top side, and larger spots, but fortunately localized on the bottom side. The frame is in good structural condition, no rust but scratches and various marks on the paint. The elastic that stretched the mattress was out of order, so I replaced it with new elastic. I opted for an elastic band of diameter 6mm, red, yellow and green color. He plays his role, but I had to stretch it a lot so that we do not touch the ground by lying on it... Maybe it would be better to replace it with an elastic band with a diameter of 8mm Thicker, it would relax less It's up to you to see and tinker if it becomes necessary; -) it is not complicated and the elastic is easily found in diy stores for a reasonable sum (a dozen euros for the 6 or 7 m needed). I took the opportunity to wash the mattress carefully (leaching into the bathtub before drying in the wind and sun). Open, it is 65 cm wide by 196 cm long and about 24 cm high. Folded, its size is 65 cm by 60 cm by 11 cm. It weighs about 6 kg.
