Jacob desmalter (in the style of) exceptional 1st empire bench in mahogany with armrests representing greyhound heads eating lotus flowers. The silks were replaced 30 years ago. The stamp varnish is from the same period. Very theatrical and probably unique piece. Most likely a special order for a high-ranking person.
