Large Henri II fireplace trumeau in solid waxed walnut.

This authentic trumeau mirror has double sculpted columns on either side and an ornamented frieze on the upper part. The wood, preventatively treated with xylophene, and the beveled mirror are in very good condition. The tain of the latter is very slightly pitted in one place (see photos), time having done its work, which reinforces its authenticity and in no way alters its charm. It can be placed on a fireplace mantle (original use), on the floor, on an entryway unit, on a bedroom chest of drawers, in a dressing room, on a console to bring light and space in a room or used as a dressing table, etc… Dimensions (in cm): height 104, width 87, depth 12.
