Vintage Daybed by Walter Knoll for Walter Knoll / Wilhelm Knoll, 1950s

Vintage cherry wood antimott daybed or sofa bed produced by wilhelm knoll, germany. The sofa was designed in the 50s and can be extended into a sofa bed. The frame is made of cherry wood with metal bars on the side. The right side can be extended so you have a lovely sofa bed(l200) in no time, and it also has different height settings. The backrest can be folded so that it does not get in the way when you lie on it. At the bottom is a blanket drawer. The sofa has loose back cushions and a mattress with springs. The cushions are upholstered with a heavy quality cotton in different colors brown, purple, ocher and grey. The execution is of high quality and the sofa is quite heavy.
