Old glazed terracotta planter from the southwest

Antique glazed terracotta planter, typical of pottery from the south of france. Handcrafted, rustic shape and traditional glaze in olive green, honey and deep brown tones, applied in wide vertical drips. The upper edge is beautifully crenellated, providing an additional decorative touch. • height: 12 cm • diameter: 12 cm • material: glazed terracotta • estimated period: late 19th / early 20th century • drainage hole at the base (planter or direct use possible) • condition: good general condition, some enamel chips, patina of time which gives it all its authenticity.
