Pair of Louis XV style candlesticks

Pair of Louis XV style candlesticks in silver-plated bronze or metal - AM hallmark. Description: Elegant pair of table candlesticks (candelabra) in Louis XV style made of bronze or silver-plated metal. Each candlestick features a hexagonal moulded base with projections, a baluster shaft with cut corners, and an also hexagonal bobeche, faithfully reflecting the aesthetic codes of silverware from the first half of the 18th century. • Type: Style reissue from the second half of the 20th century. • Hallmark: Square hallmark visible on the outer edge of the base, consisting of the letters A and M surrounding a stylised central motif. • Dimensions: Height: approximately 13 cm. • Total weight: ~890 grams (431 g per candlestick), providing excellent stability on the table. Condition & Assembly: Overall good aesthetic condition. The silver plating has a beautiful shine with a fine luminous patina. There are slight signs of normal use on the reliefs and minimal oxidation pitting.
